Wendy and Lucy is the tale of a woman traveling through life, almost completely alone save for her one best friend, her dog. Wendy (Michelle Williams) and her dog drift through the great outdoors of Oregon and Washington on their way to the destination of Alaska. The situation for Wendy goes from bad to worse as she suffers repeated spells of bad luck, such as her car breaking down, losing Lucy for a bit and also getting charged with shoplifting. As the story continues the audience sees her great resistance to all of the hard luck in her life, and she even gets a bit of help from some of the random strangers she comes across in her journey. |
