This is the story of Bob Crane (Greg Kinnear), the lovable star of Hogan's Heroes. Bob Crane was a well liked radio host when he got the gig as Hogan and became known almost solely for that role. Crane was also a photographer who enjoyed the female form. However, Crane had a darker side to the lovable family man image he was known for, and it was his introduction to John Carpenter (Willem Dafoe) that lead him down a pathway to sexual indulgence, as well as the documenting of it on film. This, in turn, is what likely lead to his eventual murder, which is unsolved to this day. This film delves into his personal life during those heady times. |
