The story circles around the incidents that occur in the year 2022. It is time for the private corporations to own the prisons and make business out of it. The hero, John Robbins, is convicted for murdering his commanding officer who ordered him to kill innocent people. Robbins was taken to the heavily guarded prison island, Absolom. People on this island have only two options namely live or die. Two groups of people were found on the island, the outsiders and The Insiders. The outsiders consisted of tribes of savage prisoners led by the Walter Merrick, who plays the villain role. The insiders consisted of a group of prisoners who formed a fortified wall and lived in a village called 'The Compound'. Robbins gets caught up between these two groups and is made to struggle for his life. He decides to escape the island where The Warden, once assaulted by Robbins, has put a spy among the prisoners. Surveillance satellites monitor Absolom and gunships are put at positions to kill anyone who tries to escape from the island. We would come to know whether he succeeds in his attempts to escape the island, which no one has ever done successfully, as well as to protect 'The Compound' from the outsiders, at the end.
