After a long prison sentence, Wilson (Terrene Stamp) learns that his precious little girl, Jenny has grown up and found herself murdered. Wilson then travels to America to the city of Los Angeles where he suffers a devastating case of culture shock. However, Wilson finds help in the form of Eduardo Roel (Luis Guzman), the only true friend his daughter ever had in the big city. The two uncover a conspiracy that stretches throughout the music industry. Wilson’s daughter was involved with a record producer Terry Valentine (Peter Fonda) who had been having an affair with long time lover, Adhara (Amelia Heinle). Upon his first attempt to seek retribution for Jenny’s death, Wilson is beaten by Valentine’s men and finds his way into the arms of Melissa George (Lesley Ann Warren), a failed actress who helps him rebuild himself by forcing Wilson to face his failures concerning Jenny. This gives Wilson the edge needed to confront Valentine a second time and show the murderer that he can’t kill an ex-con’s daughter and get away with it.
