Alice White (Anny Ondra) is dating a detective of Scotland Yard called Frank Webber (John Longden). They fight with each other in a restaurant, and then Alice decides to leave the place with Mr. Crewe, an artist (Cyril Ritchard). Crew attempts to rape her, but Alice murders him before he can. Frank goes to work on this case and finds out that Alice is the murderer after discovering a glove that she left behind. He hides it so that she cannot be prosecuted. Tracy (Donald Calthrop) is a criminal who happens to have the other glove. Tracy realizes that he can blackmail Frank and Alice. |
